Dieser universelle Gleiter wurde speziell für Rettungs- Bergungs- und Transporteinsätze unter schwierigen Bedingungen entwickelt. Er kann schnell und sicher auf Eis, Schnee und im Wasser bewegt werden. Der glatte Unterboden und der Frontbereich des Gleiters sind mit einem speziellen Materialien beschichtet welches mehrere Millimeter dick ist und den Gleiter vor spitzen und harten Kannten schützt.

Der für den MULTIGLEITER FLG 640 entwickelte Transportanhänger ermöglicht ein schnelles zu Wasser lassen auch im schwierigen Gelände.

Der Multigleiter zeichnet sich durch vielfältige Einsatzmöglichkeiten aus:

- Transport von Material und Personen auf ganz oder teilweise zugefrorenen Gewässern, unabhängig von

der Eisstärke oder Wassertiefe.

- Krankentransporte von Inseln, wenn Hubschrauber durch Schneetreiben, Nebel oder Dunkelheit nicht

fliegen können und eine Eisdecke den Einsatz von Booten verhindert.

- Rettung von Menschen oder Tieren, die im Eis eingebrochen sind.

- Feuerwehreinsätze auf Inseln vom Festland aus, die wegen zugefrorener Wasserwege mit Booten und

Fähren nicht erreicht werden können.

- sicheres Fahren in flachen und unbekannten Gewässern.

- Rettung und Versorgung der Bevölkerung in Überschwemmungsgebieten.

- Evakuierungsmaßnahmen in überfluteten Gebieten.

Die Steuerung des Gleiters erfolgt aerodynamisch über Seitenruder, die parallel gekoppelt sind und über einen Lenker betätigt werden. Der Fahrer des Gleiters sitzt auf einer Doppelsitzbank. Vor ihm befindet sich der Lenker. Beschleunigt wird durch drehen am Gasgriff mit der rechten Hand. Gebremst wird durch Schubumkehr.
